DESIGNER & SCREEN PRINTER
Anna launched her exclusive screen printed textiles label in 2014, a collection of colourful and unique lifestyle products for you and your home.
Anna comes from a rural background growing up in the New England, NSW. She has always had a strong passion for art and design throughout her schooling which led to her completing a Bachelor of Visual Arts majoring in Textiles (Honours) at the Australian National University in 2013.
A variety of textile techniques are used to create her vibrant and heavily patterned product range. All fabric designs are initially hand drawn before being transformed and put into repeats on the computer ready for multiple textile applications. Anna screen prints each design in her studio, currently the shearers quarters on her parents merino property just out of Uralla, NSW.
At the end of 2018, Anna opened a store Anna & Co. Artisan Homewares and Gifts in her hometown Uralla, NSW. Along with selling her textile products she also promotes other Australian Designers and Makers.
In addition to the shop and Anna's textiles label Anna Sutherland, she also acquired the Dinoplanters business. Now painting quirky and fun dinos for your home and office - They are seriously fun!
Anna is now based in Canberra, ACT where her creative journey began all those years ago studying Textiles. Her print studio remains in Uralla in the shearers quarters building of her parents property.
